Your tasks and responsibilities
- Set and monitor credit limits in accordance with company policy by Review customer risk exposure and propose provision adjustments accordingly.
- Monitor aging reports and overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.
- Develop and enforce internal credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and external regulations.
- Forecast short- and long-term cash requirements and report variances.
- Ensure timely invoicing and posting of receipts.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment disputes.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts.
- Prepare reports on cash position, receivables, and credit exposure.
- Analyze trends in customer payment behavior and recommend risk mitigation actions by following the collection set workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit decisions and cash transactions.
- Monitor and manage provisions in line with IFRS/GAAP and internal policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of provisions impacting the P&L.
- Analyze and report the impact of receivable provisions on monthly and quarterly financials.
- Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to validate provision estimates and adjustments.
- Review customer risk exposure and propose provision adjustments accordingly.
- Ensure transparency and consistency in provision reporting across business units.
- Support UAE AR lead with other subzones related coordination.
Your qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance / Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of finance and commercial function experience or equivalent
- Strong people skills to communicate with teams.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and an affinity for data analytics
- Experience in SAP would be considered as advantage.
