Location: Siemens Factory - 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt

Introduction:

At Siemens Smart Infrastructure, we believe in the power of digital transformation and innovation. We enable intelligent, efficient, and sustainable infrastructure solutions for energy systems, buildings, and industries. Our 10th of Ramadan Factory is a key part of delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable medium-voltage switchgear to our customers.

We are currently looking for a Quality Control and Testing Manager to lead the Testing and QC function at the factory. This leadership role will ensure that our products meet Siemens’ quality standards and customer expectations through well-established processes, strong technical governance, and effective team leadership.

Your Role – International, Impactful, and Hands-On:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage and develop a team of engineers and technicians responsible for the testing and quality control of Siemens NXAir S medium-voltage switchgear panels. You will oversee routine and type testing activities, ensure compliance with internal and external standards, support continuous improvement, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Test & Quality Control team, overseeing daily operations and long-term strategy.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient execution of MV switchgear routine tests including insulation resistance, contact resistance, and protection relay testing.
  • Supervise in-process inspections, final visual and dimensional checks, and documentation reviews.
  • Approve and validate all final testing reports and FAT documentation before delivery.
  • Drive root cause analysis and non-conformance management, collaborating with production, engineering, and suppliers.
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9001-based quality processes and quality KPIs.
  • Coordinate customer witness testing (FAT), ensuring professional communication and quick issue resolution.
  • Champion EHS and quality best practices in daily factory activities.
  • Identify training needs and support team development for enhanced performance and technical skills.
  • Lead continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives across QC and testing areas.

Your Qualifications – Digital and Solid:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in MV switchgear testing, quality control, or a related factory leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Deep technical knowledge of MV switchgear systems, preferably Siemens NXAir S.
  • Strong command of testing equipment such as OMICRON CPC100, CMC, TRAX, MOM600A, and MIT1025.
  • Solid understanding of international standards (e.g., IEC 62271, ISO 9001).
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a hands-on leadership style.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.

What We Offer:

  • A leadership role with impact in delivering national infrastructure projects.
  • Access to Siemens’ global expertise in electrification and factory excellence.
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment with career growth opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation aligned with your experience and responsibilities.
