We are seeking a transformational and experienced Assembly Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation team at our Air Insulated Switchgear facility in Gebze. This role will lead the mechanical and electrical assembly operations for Air Insulated Panels, managing a large team of assembly operators, team leaders and supervisors. The ideal candidate will be a change agent who balances operational excellence with people development and fosters a highly motivated and engaged workforce.

What part will you play?

Operational Leadership:
Lead and manage daily assembly operations, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, technical specifications, and EHS protocols.
Monitor and control KPIs, costs, and efficiency metrics.
Ensure timely delivery of assembled products according to production schedules.
Strategic Development:
Design and propose short and mid-term development initiatives.
Implement and monitor completion of investment projects.
Contribute to and align production plans with factory objectives.
Change Management & Innovation:
Lead cultural transformation and change initiatives.
Develop innovative approaches to improve processes and team performance.
Foster a proactive problem-solving and idea-generation environment.
Team Development & Motivation:
Manage, develop, and motivate a large team of assembly personnel.
Design career development paths and mentoring programs.
Create recognition and team-building initiatives.
Identify and develop future team leaders.
Build & develop ownership culture while fostering workforce transformation
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with Labor Union, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and HR departments.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects and ensure seamless communication across shifts and departments.

What you need to make real what matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing, with a managerial role at least 5 years in operations management.
Proven track record of managing large teams (100+ employees).
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical assembly processes.
Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and quality control.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
Proficient in MS Office and knowledge in ERP systems
Fluent in English; Turkish language skills preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in switchgear or similar electrical equipment manufacturing.
Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Experience with Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing tools.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
Experience with employee development and talent management programs.
