The SAP Authorization Support Specialist will be responsible for setting up and maintaining proper authorization for the user of multiple SAP systems and mainly support Siemens Healthineers’ major SAP rollout project for upcoming countries regarding authorizations. This position is part of the SAP Centre of Excellence within the IT department of Siemens Healthineers.
Task and Responsibilities
- Review & analyze authorization CRs for multiple systems & landscapes with SAP (ECC, MDG, S/4HANA, BI and BTP)
- Create & maintain roles and authorizations according to the implementation definitions in multiple systems and landscapes (ECC, MDG, S/4HANA, BI and BTP)
- Test the authorization roles
- Maintain role definition (e.g. CRs driven by compliance requirement)
- Monitor and analyze authorization issues
- You work closely with the Authorization Rollout Team Lead to implement P58’s upcoming demands collected during the country rollout
- You will design and implement the country role/GAMA concept for affected systems
- You will ensure a segregation of duties- & IT General Control-compliant implementation of authorizations within the systems, incl. critical authorizations rules to satisfy Siemens and Healthineers security & compliance requirements
Required Education - University degree in computer science, engineering or similar
Experience - 4+ years of SAP Authorization Role Maintenance experience
Technical Skills
- You have a deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, SoD conflicts and supporting tools
- You are an expert in the configuration and maintenance of authorizations in SAP
- You have experience in a similar role, managing the authorization of large SAP implementations for multi-national companies
Non-Technical Skills
- You are able to communicate and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment incl. the ability to collaborate remotely with IT teams in multiple countries like Germany, India and USA
- You are self-starter, team-player and capable of working with very little supervision
- You are systematic, methodical and well organized
