We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the development of sophisticated reporting solutions within our cutting-edge Financial Services Data Platform. Sitting at the intersection of data engineering and business intelligence, requiring both deep technical expertise and strong business acumen, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data-driven decision-making in a dynamic financial services environment.

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer. This is a hybrid position located in Iselin, New Jersey.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Spearhead end-to-end report development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production deployment

• Design and implement sophisticated data models and architecture that ensure optimal performance and maintainability (SQL, Snowflake, dbt cloud)

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of reporting solutions

• Drive technical excellence in BI development through best practices, innovation, and mentorship of junior team members

• Serve as a technical advisor & sparring partner to business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into practical solutions

• Develop robust testing frameworks and support business in the implementation of data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and report reliability

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of advanced SQL development with demonstrated expertise in complex query optimization.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud-based data warehouse technologies, in particular, Snowflake.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with modern data warehouse automation tools (dbt, DataVault Builder, WhereScape).
• 5+ years of BI development experience in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, or healthcare).
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling principles and best practices (DataVault, Kimball/Dimensional Modeling).
• 5+ years of experience with development and collaboration tools (Azure, DevOps, Git, Visual Studio).
• 5 + years of experience with modern BI visualization tools (ideally PowerBI) and best practices
• You must be authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

• The pay range for this position is $110,460-$189,360 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
