Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth within the Energy sector. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional with deep expertise in process automation solutions, digital transformation trends, and industrial software applications. The successful candidate will possess strong consultative selling skills, business development expertise, and the ability to position Siemens’ portfolio as a strategic enabler for customers in Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, Biofuel, SAF and Carbon Capture.

As part of the Siemens Vertical Market Chemical, Glass, and Energy Organization, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a pivotal role in developing business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and working cross-functionally to deliver innovative automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and market competitiveness.

You will make an impact by:

  • Technical Sales & Industry Expertise
    • Drive influence in system design and application recommendations for Siemens’ Digital Industries portfolio.
    • Apply domain expertise in DCS, SCADA, PLCs, IIoT, and industrial software to support customers in process automation and digital transformation.
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Leverage a consultative sales approach to identify customer pain points and propose tailored automation solutions.
    • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for lead generation, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
    • Develop and deliver compelling ROI-driven presentations and proposals showcasing Siemens’ value proposition.
  • Customer Engagement & Market Positioning
    • Cultivate and manage C-suite relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Siemens DI and SI field teams to orchestrate end-to-end technical and commercial support.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Digital Tools
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product teams, marketing, procurement, and engineering, to align sales strategies with customer needs.
    • Maintain accurate customer records and account strategies in SieSales CRM, covering direct and indirect business transactions.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience and 8+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the process automation industry.
  • Proven track record in consultative and value-based selling within the Chemical &Energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of process automation, digital transformation, and industrial software solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in both domestic and international virtual teams and willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering, consulting, or sales within CGE industries.
  • Deep understanding of batch and continuous production, safety compliance, and energy management.
  • Prior exposure to Siemens Digital Industries products, solutions, and services is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships and execute on complex sales opportunities across multiple organizations.

  • The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $192,240 and comes with a Sales incentive of 46% The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
