Today, we are recruiting for a Project Health Safety Environmental EHS Lead to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Responsible for the monitoring the compliance of the EHS procedures as part of the Consortium Joint Venture.
  • Responsible for supporting contractors & sub-contractors with the EHS strategy and procedures.
  • Responsible to monitoring the EHS Coverage coordinate the supervision of the construction & installation performed by CJV for SMO
  • Responsible to coordinate with the consortium and contractor HSE requirements
  • Maintain EHS process at site to ensure compliance with EHS & IFC guidelines.
  • Report any breaches of Life saving rules Conduct initial investigations.
  • Review EHS safe systems of work at site inclusive of STARRT cards Permits.
  • Review locations for equipment and plant compliance
  • Ensure all persons in site location are trained and authorized to be on site.
  • Attend and deliver weekly toolbox topics in line with consortium EHS team.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental management or equivalent, master’s degree will be an advantage.
  • Has a Minimum of 4+ years of experience in environment and social management in a multinational Environment.
  • Qualification at a minimum EHS OSHA Certification, recognized by a professional association supported with relevant work experience
  • OSHA, IOSH NVQ NEEBOSH, OFQUAL, recognized by a professional association supported with relevant work experience.
  • Has consolidated work experience with exposure to Project Occupational Health and Safety requirements a site level specific to the project scope
