Industrial Engineer
Responsibilities include:
1. Analyze and redesign production or administrative processes
2. Implement methodologies such as Lean manufacturing, Six sigma or Kaizen
3. Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions
4. Manage inventories and materials
5. Optimize the use of resources (human, material, technological)
6. Evaluate production and operating costs
7. Prepare budgets and financial analysis for projects
8. Search for savings opportunities
9. Study times and movements to improve productivity
10. Train personnel in continuous improvement and industrial safety
11. Automate processes through software or machinery
12. Participate in the digitalization of operation (Industry 4.0)
13. Evaluate and select technological tools. Design more sustainable processes
14. Reduce the environmental impact of operations
Skills / Experience:
• Industrial Engineer
• Bilingual (English – Spanish)
• Analytical thinking and problem solving
• Effective communication, both oral and written
• Leadership and teamwork
• Adaptability to change
• Time management and organization
• Result oriented
• Ability to make decisions under pressure
• Knowledge in continuous improvement (Lean, six sigma, kaizen)
• Experience in logistics and supply chain
• Data analysis and applied statistics
• Process design and simulation
• Handling of specialized software such as AutoCAD, ERP (SAP), advanced Excel, Minitab, etc.
• Participation in optimization or automation projects
• Work in multidisciplinary teams
