Siemens Gebze factory is the lead factory for Air Insulated Switchgears in Siemens World and exporting more than 80 countries worldwide. We are seeking a experienced Quality Control Team Leader to manage Low Voltage Quality Control Operations in GEBZE.

What part will you play?

• Managing Low Voltage Quality Control Operations and ensure implementation of test activities of finished switchboards in accordance to valid regulations.

• Direct communication with relevant parties (OM, AS, FP etc.) and participating regular coordination meetings as a representative of the low voltage quality control team.

• Supervising resource management and managing group performance by monitoring relevant KPI’s & process related statistics.

• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, including ISO 9001 and other industry-specific certifications (ISO14001, ISO45001, etc.).

• Using the authority to stop unsafe work, production and processes if the corresponding quality is not fulfilled

• Supporting and supervising customer acceptance activities.

• Handling customer complaints by analyzing root causes and implementing CAPA studies. Supporting before and aftersales operations by providing technical consultancy.

• Planning and implementation of continuous improvement activities, especially in scope of digitalization and automation.

• Developing strategies and applies industry best practices.

• Support and participation in product certification process and audits.

• Organizing supplier visits, identifying, planning and monitoring improvement potentials.

What you need to make real what matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering preferable in electrical engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

• Min 5 years’ experience in low voltage business, products and components

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Knowledge of IEC 61439 standard and related tests applied in low voltage switchgears

• Knowledge of digital tools and application

• Very good command of MS Office applications

• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies like 8D methodology, Ishikawa Diagram, 5Why, APQP, FMEA and Value Stream.

• Auditor certification (IS0 9001, VDA etc.) is an asset

• Six sigma green belt certification is an asset

• Interested in digitalization and software applications is an asset

• Customer and solution oriented, experienced to work with different cultures

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
