Senior Construction and Decarbonization Project Manager
We are seeking a full-time driven and enthusiastic senior project manager to join our Mexico based team. Also, to perform comprehensive Decarbonization Projects on major office and industrial locations. We make real what matters.
As a Senior Construction and Decarbonization Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing real estate construction and fit-out projects such as office and light industrial buildings, as well as Decarbonization projects in such buildings from start through end.
- Ensuring implementation of Siemens Guidelines valuing Sustainability, Digitalization and Safety on site.
- Responsible for efficient project execution and targets achievement. You ensure compliance with the required quality, timely completing, and time/cost efficiency.
- Report regularly on project status and progress to management stakeholders and the Siemens Real Estate Construction and/or Decarbonization programs management.
- In terms of decarbonization projects, together with the team you optimize technical solutions. Especially in the areas of energy supply, energy efficiency, heat generation (where applicable), and distribution, heat pump technology and on-site power generation.
- Building up the project team embedding internal and external service provider and lead the project team during the entire project duration.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders, coordinating all external and internal project participants in a respectful and structured manner.
- Drive digitalization and innovation, taking the opportunity to identify creative solutions to improve projects and processes.
- Use of standardized project management methods and tools to ensure continuous progress and monitoring of project tasks. Conducting regular project routines and ensuring proper documentation are also part of daily project tasks.
- You lead the project team and motivate team members continuously. You solve conflicts within the team and the extended project environment.
Your Profile:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a comparable Real Estate related qualification or 10 years of professional work experience as a Construction Project Manager. Mechanical or electrical engineering minors on top of the above requirements is desirable.
- Ideally, you have general knowledge and focus skills on heat supply technologies, cooling and air conditioning, energy efficiency measures, building automation.
- Knowledge of building codes and experience in dealing with planning and construction contracts are a must.
- Knowledge of CENACE and CFE standards and requirements for projects in Medium and High Voltage.
- Ability to travel within Mexico, Central America, and eventually in other countries within the Americas; with travel time expected to be 30%-50%.
- Positive attitude and committed to team collaboration and communication.
- Ideally experience in an international environment within multinational teams and demonstrating intercultural sensitivity.
- Driven, with a high level of motivation to learn, develop, and adapt, as well as an affinity for innovation.
- Structured way of working and good time management.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
