Based in Oradea, for our factory network we are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist
This will be your impact:
- Identify and establish relationships with suppliers of indirect materials and services who can consistently provide high-quality commodities, on a local, national and international level.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers, to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability, in profitable conditions and in compliance with compliance requirements. Administrate and follow-up of contracts.
- Preparation of bid requests and analysis, comparison of bids in order to make a purchase decision.
- Management of suppliers' data base.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues promptly to maintain smooth procurement operations.
- Optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline supply chain operations.
- Preparing orders in SAP, tracking delivery terms. Continuous communication with suppliers.
- Preparation of specific periodical reports;
- Collaboration with support and production departments
This is how you'll win us over:
- Proven experience as a commodity buyer or procurement specialist, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Bachelor's degree (preferably technical studies);
- Knowledge regarding the drafting of contracts and legislation in the field;
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office; SAP S4 is a plus;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English / German language is a plus;
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships;
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling procurement documentation and contracts.
