Position Summary:
The Total Rewards Specialist Netherlands will be a key member of the Total Rewards EMEA team and will be responsible for supporting all Total Rewards topics in the Netherlands and potentially further countries within the EMEA region. In addition, the role will be key in leading and coordinating regional Total Rewards projects.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Dutch HR team as well as the regional and global Total Rewards teams. As part of your responsibility for the Netherlands you will drive operational efficiency and ensure seamless coordination of compensation and benefits topics. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work with the regional and global teams to drive Total Rewards topics in the EMEA region as project manager.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a trusted partner, working proactively and collaboratively with the HR Country Head in the Netherlands
  • Manage year-end compensation processes
  • Coordinate and provide in depth and ad hoc analytical support / guidance to Business Partners and Leaders
  • Market Data Collection and Analysis including role matching and levelling and survey data submission
  • Act as main point of contact for new hire offer package reviews and provide functional advice as required
  • Implement global policies and programs, define and adopt Total Rewards guidelines and processes for your country of responsibility
  • Ensure compensation and benefits practices adhere to best practice and legislative requirements
  • Manage the benefit portfolio incl. annual portfolio review and ensuring local implementation with internal stakeholders and external vendors incl. annual renewals of the insurance policies in accordance with the global strategy guidelines
  • Ensure the necessary documentation and transparency of benefits in local and global databases and tools
  • Contribute to compensation and benefits initiatives relating to M&A activities
  • Lead and coordinate Total Rewards projects within the EMEA region to ensure effective implementation of global Total Rewards priorities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as the global Total Rewards team to enable consistent implementation of the global Total Rewards strategy while considering local requirements
  • Prepare and present reports and analyses for management
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor´s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; Master´s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits (ideally, within large matrix organization or consultancy)
  • Project management experience, preferably from the Total Rewards area
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with advanced excel skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and presentation skills
  • Proactive stakeholder management and consultation abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Growth mindset and able to adapt well to ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to work remotely, including ability to travel occasionally
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
