About the Role: Financial Analyst – FP&A, Performance Controlling
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Performance Controlling team at Brightly Software. You’ll play a key role in optimizing data consolidation and financial analysis processes, driving efficiency and accuracy across the board. Reporting directly to: Head of Performance Controlling, Siemens, Smart Infrastructure, Brightly Software Business Unit.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate monthly forecast consolidation processes for Smart Infrastructure, Brightly Software at the global level, engaging with financial partners across multiple countries.
- Lead SG&A cost center bottoms up forecast.
- Support the forecast submission process to local company and division global headquarters.
- Drive complex analysis on business performance, providing reports of comparing actuals with forecast, budget and previous years.
- Prepare materials for business reviews and budget presentations.
- Identify and implement process improvements, with a focus on automation and digitalization.
- Work actively on ad hoc reporting and customized analysis, supporting senior management.
- Prepare monthly journal entries for key accounting adjustments in the P&L and Balance Sheet
- Support Planful administration (planning and reporting platform), including template design and maintenance
- Engage in specific initiatives related to business operations and finance excellence
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in finance or performance controlling.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data automation tools (e.g., Power BI, KNIME, Power Query).
- Proficiency with ERPs (e.g.: SAP, Intacct) and Planning Tools (e.g.: Hyperion, SAC, Planful)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and attention to detail.
- Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

The pay range for this position is $60,340 – $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
