Siemens eMobility® solutions is shaping the market with innovative Electric Vehicle (EV) charging technologies. We are dedicated to driving an open and accessible market for electric vehicles, as well as planning and implementing secure grid connections to enable further growth of EV adoption.
We are looking for Proposal Specialist, Sales Support. This position will be based at Atlanta GA.
This eMobility Proposal Specialist will analyze and process customer requirements to prepare proposals and solutions that best fit their electrification needs, ensuring competitive pricing, technical & contractual compliance. You will work closely with Siemens sales, Business Developer Managers, and customers in various markets, promoting business generation for Siemens EV charging equipment and associated services.
- Generate competitively priced customer proposals incorporating Siemens solutions that best fit customer needs. Participate in the design of semi-complex hardware and software solutions in Electric Vehicle Charging Applications.
- Work with Siemens services organization to offer service solutions related to the product, including maintenance programs, commissioning, and installation.
- Recommend alternatives or changes to semi-complex customer specifications and/or internal processes to better match company products to customer needs and improve productivity.
- Collaborate with product managers, business development managers, legal counsel, project management, and sales teams on technical, legal, contractual, and commercial issues to generate sustainable business growth. Participate in negotiations to ensure a significant proportion of bids convert to orders.
- Ensure accurate pipeline management and bid approval process through CRM and Limitation of Authority (LOA). Facilitate the handover of project information, documentation, and communication to order entry and project execution organizations after contract award. Participate in improving sales tools, processes, and procedures to establish "best in class" bidding processes.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited 4-year university.
- 5+ years experience with the following:
- Technical background in pre-sales, estimating, and design of electrical equipment, services, and software solutions.
- Familiarity with business, financial terminology, contractual terms and conditions, and able to negotiate and suggest alternatives.
- Strong organization, project management and communication skills, ability to make professional writing and presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Power Point. Broad engineering understanding of electrical systems and services.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

- The pay range for this position is $53,760 - $112,560. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
