Title: Indirect Material Buyer

Location: Cairo, Egypt


Are you a strategic procurement professional with expertise in Indirect Materials? We are seeking a Buyer specialised in Travel and mobility services, logistics and Services and goods (factory supply) commodities to drive category strategy, supplier management, and cost optimization.

Your Role – International, Challenging And Future-Oriented!

  • Strategic Commodity Management – Develop and execute sourcing strategies.
  • RFQ & Supplier Management – Lead RFQs, supplier selection, benchmarking, and contract negotiations.
  • Spend Analytics & Cost Optimization – Analyse BOM costs, identify savings opportunities, and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) – Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships to drive performance and value.
  • Procurement Processes – Oversee the entire procurement cycle, including early business engagement, negotiations, order processing, and contracting.
  • Continuity of Supply – Ensure a stable supply chain by managing supplier relationships and mitigating risks.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Procurement or Commodity Management, preferably in Indirect Materials.
  • Strong strategic procurement skills with a proven track record in cost management and supplier negotiations.
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess market trends and optimize procurement decisions.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other procurement tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to participate in a short shadowing period for shortlisted candidates.
