We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account manager to lead and expand our Medium Voltage business across NSW and ACT with a focus in Utility vertical. This role will oversee Siemens' medium voltage switchgear and protection portfolio, including both primary and secondary switchgear (GIS & AIS), ring main units (up to 33kV), protection relays, and packaged solutions as part of our electrical systems services offering. A solid knowledge of the NSW Utility market, including the contestable business and renewable energy landscape would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
• Grow and maintain strong relationships with customers through a balance of hunting and farming strategies.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities.
• Actively engage with consultants, contractors, and key customers through face-to-face meetings, calls, and presentations.
• Deliver technical support, solution selling, and product presentations to drive customer adoption and promote a technology-first mindset.
• Effectively communicate the technical features and business benefits of our solutions.
• Create value-driven proposals and differentiate our offerings to meet customer needs.
• Develop and implement a 3- to 5-year strategic business plan for the region.
• Build and maintain a strong professional network across all relevant decision-making levels.
• Lead contract negotiations and support customer-specific product and service portfolio development.
• Act as the escalation point for customer complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
About You
• 5+ years of local sales experience in the medium voltage or associated industrial sector.
• A good knowledge of contracting and tendering procedures.
• Ability to analyse customer satisfaction data & develop corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional relationship and rapport building skills (Essential).
• Experience working in Electrical industries in NSW and ACT will be advantageous
• High level technical capability and understanding.
• Knowledge of relevant statutory body requirements and Australian Standards within the industry.
• Previous experience in account management with strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong understanding of medium voltage switchgear and protection devises (preferred but not mandatory).
• The ability to regularly travel intra and interstate.
