Responsible to lead, develop & coach a team for Sales Managers & Executives in Industry & Infrastructure Sales Vertical of Northern Region to drive the business growth for portfolios under Electrification & Automation, E-Mobility and Grid Software Business Units. The role is critical in ensuring a robust sales pipeline across various multiple sub segments E.g Automotive, O&G, F&B, Metals & Mining, Cements, Pharma, Renewables, Semiconductor & Electronics, Urban Transportation , Datacenter, Real Estate & Construction , Educational Institutes & Industrial Campuses.
KPI includes achieving order income in line with the targets, sustainable growth in order volume, market share, sales productivity & customer satisfaction (high NPS).
Driving and monitoring key market development programs & initiatives. He will be responsible for planning and implementation of the Sales Strategies, policies and guidelines in line with the overall business strategies of Smart Infrastructure (SI) Business.
Analyse and evaluate market trends, track planned investment cycles and identifying strategic business opportunities for Products, Systems, Solutions & Services and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders & leverage synergies with other Smart Infrastructure businesses to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative.
Enable , grow and strengthen CXO connects between the two organization. Develop and maintain strong relationship with key decision makers / stakeholders in customer organization.
Drive focus on accelerating digitalization use cases and scaling across different industry verticals. Develop, drive and implement Energy efficiency related projects under Sustainability as a business initiative.
Actively support the sales team throughout the sales cycle and leads techno-commercial negotiations for key opportunities.
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders i.e Regional Commercial , Proposals and Legal to evaluate contract T&Cs for identifying risk (LOA) and propose mitigation measures to Sales / BU / Division Management for approval.
Drives a systematic sales approach based on market & customer transparency. Sets a high performance and ownership culture within the team. Supports CRM process ensuring KPI’s i.e data quality, funnel adequacy, market transparency are met as per organizational requirements
Provide leadership to the team of sales engineers, motivation and control so that they work as a high performance team. Sets up effective review mechanism to monitor individual performance, identify gaps and enables competency development for them to be more effective.
Represent Siemens on Industry Association and events
Acts as a voice of customer and collaborate internally for timely closure of complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirement
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics
15-20 yrs of experience in Sales, Bidding and Order Acquisition. Knowledge of Medium Voltage Products & Systems, Protection Systems and Energy Automation solutions. Possess understanding of Electrical Substations and ability to handle sales of Turnkey Power Distribution Solutions for the Industry and Infra customers.
A good communicator and having good network with customers in Industries and Infrastructure Segment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
To be successful in this role, you should be a good people manager with experience in leading a team of highly energetic sales colleagues.
Must be technology savvy and comfortable in usage of MS Office and CRM Tool.
