About the role
The Siemens Regional Process Office in Canada, is looking for a technically astute, Part-time Process and Technology Specialist (Student). The individual will be working out of our Oakville office and will be responsible for supporting our consultants to analyze, optimize and digitalize business processes.
What will you do?
- Contribute to identification of new digital transformation opportunities by analyzing processes and assessing feasibility together with the consultants and the process owners.
- Participate in process optimization & design workshops as part of an agile project team.
- Support our internal improvement, idea and innovation programs.
- Create announcements by using PowerPoint or video tools.
What will you need to succeed?
- Pursuing a Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/computer science or relevant Engineering disciplines.
- Interested in Low-Code applications such as Mendix.
- Interested in Robotic Software Automation Projects (RPA/RDA) and Business Intelligence tools.
- Adept at using PowerPoint and video editing tools to prepare project documentation.
- Interest in new technology implementations and continuous learning.
- Quick learner, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Basic knowledge of algorithms and coding.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the international project members.
