Main tasks of the role
- Follow up orders with both local and overseas suppliers.
- Handle both inbound and outbound shipments and full set of I/E documents.
- Monitor and manage inventory.
- Handling the receiving and releasing of materials with 3rd party logistics company.
- Develop and implement efficient process to streamline and standardize warehouse operations, storage space organization, handling and packing standard.
- Facilitate communications between stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers and team members.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualification and Experience required:
- Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
- 2 years' work experience in shipping department
- Full knowledge of shipping related laws and international standards and taxation
- Full knowledge of shipping process and required documentation.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
- Good command in both written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of other languages such as German, Malay, Mandarin and Thai will be an added advantage.
- Well versed in MS office applications.
