The Internship Program start dates for Summer 2025 are May 19th, June 2nd or June 9th.
What you will do as a Siemens Smart Infrastructure Energy Engineering Data Analyst Intern
- Work with large data models to analyze trends using Business Intelligence software.
- Optimize existing data queries for faster data presentation
- Assist in writing business requirements for cloud platform data acquisition methods
- Support data structure creation for efficient processing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and usability
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs
- Report out regularly to senior business leaders on deliverables
- Partner with mentors in upper management
- Work on a multi-functional team to create innovative solutions to problems cutting across multiple business segments
- Interact and partner with other interns and co-ops

Required Qualifications:
- Current junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least one year remaining in their school program. Candidates must not be graduating prior to September 2025.
- Pursing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
- Knowledge of SQL and Python/C++/C#/HTML/SCSS/JavaScript/TypeScript or other relevant programming languages
- Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Leadership skills inside and outside the classroom

The hourly pay range for this position is $26 - $30. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
