Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
− Tracks recent developments in technology, demand, customer specific problem statements.
− Provides support in market forecasts for FACTS solutions, in coordinate with GT Sales to improve our footprint in T&D market.
− Provides multidisciplinary technical expertise, assist in optimizing the overall solution.
− Responsible for Technical pre-sales and sales activities like preparation of optimized solution to meet customer requirement, lead technical offer preparation.
− Leads the finalization of solution configuration in coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams, global sales & PLM team.
− Evaluation of tender documentation and requests of the client
− Leads preparation of Technical Bid / Technical Proposal, techno-commercial risk & opportunity profile, technical negotiations, proposing alternative solutions or modification in requirements, ensures that proposals are technically feasible and compliant with customer requirements working along with engineering experts.
− Assists strategic developments (solutions, process, proposal & vendors), to improve competitiveness.
− Reviews and analyze operational experiences of installed projects to identify successes, challenges, and areas for improvement and support iterative enhancements to optimize solution cost and implementation time, by engaging with project execution, aftersales support teams and customer.
− Awareness of internal and external competing Products & Solutions.
