Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for an embedded software developer for a project aimed at developing a future generation of a platform for building automation systems. You will build Eco System with cloud, edge device with wired and wireless device integration in a Scrum (SAFe) team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining embedded software for building automation systems.
- Ensuring the efficient integration of our systems with KNX standards.
- Participating in the maintenance, servicing, modernization, support, and monitoring of KNX systems.
We expect:
- Professional experience with C++ for Embedded Systems
- Quality awareness to automated CI/CD (GitLab runner, Lava) and configuration management (CMake)
- Linux development
- English
Nice to have skills:
- SmartBuilding protocols (KNX, RS485, modbus, BACnet, Dali)
- Protocol security (TLS)
- IoT standards (W3C, Building Topology Ontology)
- Scripting Languages (Python)
- German
