What are my responsibilities?
In your new position as Commercial Bid Manager, you will lead the preparation of customer offers together with our bid team / bid managers).
During the bid/offer phase, you will take on the role of Commercial Bid Management, which includes, for example:
• Prepare competitive offers for international and complex erection projects, in cooperation with regional units and cross-functional stakeholders. This especially includes the definition of business models and the implementation of a winning strategy from all commercial as well as contractual aspects.
• Ensure compliance with processes and quality gates (LoA) and present your offers up to the business line and Siemens Logistics management.
• Contribute to a smooth project start through continuous exchange between bid and execution team and a comprehensive project handover
• Ensure an accurate forecast for the bids under your responsibility
To support your professional development and personal growth you can take over additional tasks, special projects and responsibilities.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
• 3 years of working experience is required
• University degree, preferably majored in Commercial / Finance / Accounting
• International working experience is a plus
• Understanding of Siemens processes (e.g. LoA) and guidelines (e.g. NCM) is a plus
• Advanced knowledge in SAP operation practice and Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English due to multi-cultural working environment

• Open minded team player who enjoys working in an international environment and highly motivated team
• Logical mindset with strong analytical capability
• Ability to build long-term relationships with internal colleagues and external providers
• Ability to work independently with high commitment to support the growth of our Customer Lifecycle Business
• Initiative and change orientation in a fast growing market environment
• Flexibility to travel and support onshore the development of the Bids
