The Customer Business Partner is responsible for planning and executing sales targets and activities in a specified region to increase sales and achieve commercial and core business targets. They manage orders, ensuring adherence to bid costs and securing profitable orders. They acquire projects and oversee the bid process from acquisition to order receipt and handover to the project manager, ensuring the bid is prepared correctly with Bid Management.

In this role you will:

  • Identify and acquire projects within your region.
  • Influence and guide the bid team to create a bid consistent with the sales strategy.
  • Plan sales volumes and potentials of all customers in the assigned region.
  • Provide information via CRM for forecasts and planning.
  • Analyze specific market conditions and build a sound market-related network of stakeholders.
  • Authority to issue directives to the bid team in terms of technical aspects / contents driven by customer requirements

  • Professional experience in direct sales and management in a rail industry.
  • Appropriate skill in team leadership.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and colleagues from other cultural environments (intercultural experience).
