Then come and join our global team as Business Development Professional (f/m/d) Magnetic Resonance to further drive the strategic development of the Magnetic Resonance business.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You identify, shape and capture future business opportunities for our Magnetic Resonance (MR) business area.
  • In line with our business strategy, you drive the development of new business and markets through your initiative and creativity.
  • You analyze technologies regarding their potential for the business area and develop corresponding business cases.
  • Based on our regional MR markets and our product business cases, you develop suitable models to extrapolate the future development of our current business and new business opportunities or scenarios.
  • You establish new and maintain existing global relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaboration and cooperation partners.
  • You plan and lead exploratory projects with strategic objectives including the evaluation and negotiation of M&A opportunities.
  • You support and advise MR management with assessments and prioritization of strategic courses of action.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a PhD in a medical, scientific or a comparable field.
  • You have several years of professional experience in the areas of business development or strategy and have ideally already managed larger projects.
  • You can demonstrate strong methodology skills in data analytics.
  • Your in-depth knowledge of MR and/or diagnostic imaging and clinical experience in the field is a plus.
  • Your scientific background, proven by scientific publications/patents and your active network in the scientific community of medical imaging diagnostics completes your profile.

Your attributes and skills:

  • You have strong communication skills and excellent English language skills that enable you to communicate easily and at eye level with different business units, cultures and management levels in an international environment. German language skills are a plus.
  • You have the special ability to inspire others and to convince them of your ideas.

  • You have a methodical and creative way of thinking as well as high analytical and organizational skills.
  • You put entrepreneurial action and decision-making in the foreground and independently develop your network based on trust.
