Key responsibilities:

• Planning Engineering activities during the bidding phase and creating a feasible project timeline for all engineering aspects
• Preparing technical proposals for projects based on Mireo, Desiro HC, and Desiro Verve platforms
• Coordinating bid activities within Engineering and leading the bid team
• Developing a comprehensive technical concept for the vehicle in line with customer requirements
• Implementing technical requirements to offer cost-effective and technically optimal solutions
• Ensuring deadlines and processes are met during the bidding phase
• Managing cost estimation processes within Engineering for bid proposals

Requirements:

• University degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering
• Several years of hands-on experience in railway vehicle development
• Experience in project management, preferably in the bid phase
• Strong understanding of conceptual and technical solutions for railway vehicles
• Fluent communication in German, English and Czech
• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Goal-oriented mindset and a proactive approach
• Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Polarion, and SAP is an advantage
• Systematic and detail-oriented approach with the ability to see the bigger picture
