Key responsibilities:
- Planning Engineering activities during the bidding phase and creating a feasible project timeline for all engineering aspects
- Preparing technical proposals for projects based on Mireo, Desiro HC, and Desiro Verve platforms
- Coordinating bid activities within Engineering and leading the bid team
- Developing a comprehensive technical concept for the vehicle in line with customer requirements
- Implementing technical requirements to offer cost-effective and technically optimal solutions
- Ensuring deadlines and processes are met during the bidding phase
- Managing cost estimation processes within Engineering for bid proposals
Requirements:
- University degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering
- Several years of hands-on experience in railway vehicle development
- Experience in project management, preferably in the bid phase
- Strong understanding of conceptual and technical solutions for railway vehicles
- Fluent communication in German, English and Czech
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Goal-oriented mindset and a proactive approach
- Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Polarion, and SAP is an advantage
- Systematic and detail-oriented approach with the ability to see the bigger picture
