As a Support Account Manager, you will ensure an amazing customer experience for all aspects of support and drive the use of newly released software within our customers. You will be assigned to key accounts to orchestrate all support activity, provide maintenance planning, and handle escalations by acting as the single point of contact.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with major and strategic accounts to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs and architect appropriate solutions.
  • Act as a single point of contact for your customer and advocate and orchestrate support activities across customer organizations and within Siemens for the licensed software products.
  • Work with customers to develop and deliver solutions in cooperation with the different Siemens development groups.
  • Oversee technical resources in the software delivery solutions to ensure successful client adoption.
  • Set perspective with major and strategic accounts, sales executives, and technical resources
  • Develop a keen understanding of the customer's specific business and technical drivers and major initiatives
  • Understand the customer's business structure and product lifecycle processes.
  • Enable the customer to setup a successful strategy for business and technical requirements in the areas of product development, manufacturing, and support.
  • Support the customer during the implementation and operation of Siemens software solutions by navigating reported issues through the involved Siemens departments.
  • Coordinate the communication, provides a transparent and regular status overview and demand responses from involved Siemens departments, customer related resources and Siemens partners.
  • Proactively review/analyse support needs across Siemens software product portfolio and manages escalations and prioritises issues.
  • Analyse the dependencies of issues to ensure correct severity classification.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of main Siemens software products
  • Technical consulting, IT project management or support experience with the digital twin concept Teamcenter, which includes performing proof of concepts, defining requirements and scope deployment, as well as being part of the selection process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and ideally in an additional language
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Practical experience in engineering projects
  • Basic knowledge of business process management
  • BSc/BA in an engineering or manufacturing-related field or a similar profession
  • Experience leading and managing requests of technical and business consultants from within, and outside of their formal organization
