For our Smart Infrastructure Electrification & Automation Air Insulated Switchgear Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Switchboards Lead Factory in Gebze, we are searching for the Shopfloor Transformation Manager. Reporting to Head of Operational Excellence, The Shopfloor Transformation Manager will lead Method Engineering and Infrastructure & Maintenance strategies for a smooth manufacturing.
What part will you play?
- Implements defined superior policies and guidelines, and defines and ensures implementation of Method Engineering and Infrastructure & Maintenance strategies, function specific processes, procedures, methods and/or tools,
- Initiates, develops and leads projects to design and/or improve existing distribution/logistics systems and processes,
- Supports the lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity,
- Oversees operational processes, heads overall organization assigned, and leads all related management and staff,
- Heads inspections, investigations and analysis of Manufacturing, Logistics and Quality Control processes and sequences,
- Contributes to design, layout, realization and/or optimization of technical infrastructure,
- Manages cooperation with facility management, external suppliers and maintenance service providers,
- Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff,
- Cooperates with Facility Management, External Maintenance Teams, Digital Transformation team, EHS team respectively.
What you need to make real what matters.
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering,
- Minimum 10 years overall experience and preferably min. 3 years in managerial roles,
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines,
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line, with supervisory experience beneficial,
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines,
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills,
- Analytical thinking & approach,
- Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing,
- Experience in reporting on key performance metrics,
- Strong decision-making skills & result driven approach,
- Good command of written and spoken English & Turkish.
