Your role:
- Being the key point of contact for assurance-related topics (governance, risk management and internal controls) and be responsible for delegating directives, ensuring proper ownership, and reporting progress of internal controls.
- Ensure that policies, procedures, processes, and controls are compliant with the organization and properly assessed.
- Supporting entity management with adequate and efficient Internal Control (IC) process implementation.
- Execute independent reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, conducting Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness. Collaborate with different stakeholders to drive deficiency remediation, addressing root causes and ensuring a resilient control framework.
- Facilitates a timely sign-off of the quarterly Internal Certification.
- Reports the IC status to entity management and to IC Hub and Central Team on a regular basis.
- Executing RIC trainings locally.
- Support and assist with the adherence to the ERM process (identify, assess, respond, monitor & report) with the primary goal to support the company achieving its business objectives by addressing material strategic, operational, financial, and compliance-related risks and opportunities.
- Preparing annual risk workshops with management to identify and addresses new risks and opportunities.
Your expertise:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bring a minimum of 4 years' experience in audit, accounting, commercial, or business administration roles.
- Deep understanding of internal controls, internal audit practices, financial accounting, along with strong intellectual and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of business processes, preferably at Siemens Healthineers or other Siemens entities.
- Strong presentation and communication skills as well as excellent in English which enable you to communicate easily and at eye level with different parts of the business and management levels in an international environment.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, achieve deadlines and deliver quality results within a team environment.
- Have a strong focus on efficiency and process improvement especially digitalization.
- Have a proven ability to build strong partnerships with teammates, key stakeholders, and business and functional experts and influence decision outcomes.
