Job Title :- Pre-Sales & Bid Engineer for Switchgear Monitoring Solutions
A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of the Digital Grids Customer Operations and Engagement team, you will deal with new requests for Switchgear condition monitoring systems from our global sales colleagues and factories. Together with customers, factories and sales from the regions, you will go through the requirements for a monitoring system for the project and provide technical and advisory support. After customer approval, you will liaise with your colleagues to gather all important specifications and technical details about the project so that together a budget estimate and quotation can be prepared for the customer. During your engagements with the customers, you gained valuable insights and feedback about the use of our products, which you share afterwards with the product managers and discuss, how we can improve the usability and experience with our products.
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
- Acting as the point of contact for all inquiries regarding condition monitoring solutions for switchgear and circuit breakers
- Advising customers to find the right digital solution for their project and introducing them to the innovative solutions in our portfolio
- Supporting your colleagues in presenting our portfolio to customers and in the creation of offers.
- Working continuously to simplify the price calculation for projects and to enable the creation of initial budget estimates and offers
- Overview of opportunities, ongoing projects and completed projects in the area of Switchgear Condition Monitoring
- Working with our customers on a daily basis, you will continuously work to optimize our products by understanding users and their daily
- tasks, how our products support them, and share these insights and feedback with our product management team
- Defining requirements for the product that improve the overall customer journey and customer experience as well as supporting the creation
- of customer-facing material, such as tutorial videos and guides
- Supporting our product managers in validating new features and ideas and gather customer feedback.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
· 5-6 Years of Exp.
- Completed university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or comparable education.
- First professional experience and proven success record in similar roles driving new digital portfolio and digital transformation
- Hands on experience in applying digital products in OT environments, experience with different areas of digital technologies, like SCADA, networks, IoT devices, software, cloud architectures
- Experience with high voltage energy assets, especially HV switchgear.
- Strongly solution oriented and customer centric mindset, eager to learn about new technologies
- Thrilled by new technologies, profound understanding of IoT, digitalization and automation as well as keeping an eye on the latest developments in this space.
- Communicating fluently in English, German is a plus
