Baseline Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Authorized to work in the United States without the need for future or current sponsorship by the company

Product Engineering Software (PES)
Knowledge Industry Automation
As an intern in Product Engineering Software (PES), you will dive into working with our premiere NX CAD software. As an intern on the Knowledge Industry Automation team, you will design and program complex functionality for the NX CAD product, focusing on surpassing customer expectations, achieving high quality code, and on-time delivery. You will create, document and execute software designs for focused areas. You will work in a local team, as well as collaborating with a wider group located throughout the US, Europe, and India. The work environment is flexible and highly collaborative. Problems and solutions are actively discussed amongst the team. Furthermore, you will:
Contribute individually or in a team, as needed, to meet the requirements of various projects
Design and implement capabilities in a world-leading mechanical CAD product
Solve complex computing and engineering problems
Write clean, robust and maintainable code to minimize the cost of defects over time
Maintain existing code – analyze and resolve customer and internally reported problems
Communicate and collaborate with the team and customers
Ensure on-going quality of the product delivered to customers
Organization Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, or a first year Master’s student, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Prior software development related work experience is preferred
Significant programming experience with C/C++
Knowledge of programming languages for web or cloud, such as JAVAScript or Python strongly preferred
Ability to tackle problems involving large, complex systems
Experience with 3D CAD modeling Software is preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Effective organizational and time management skills
Desire to continuously improve and learn about new areas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Inspires collaboration
