We are looking for an Industrial Engineer. This position will be based in Broken Arrow, OK.
Responsibilities:
- Cost Reduction Projects: Identify, lead, and implement cost-saving initiatives across various functions, using data-driven analysis and engineering methods to optimize processes and reduce operational costs.
- Throughput Improvement: Evaluate existing workflows and processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop strategies and drive improvements to increase throughput and ensure more efficient use of resources.
- CAPEX Project Ownership: Oversee and manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Lean Project Leadership: Lead and support the design and implementation of lean projects, including but not limited to value stream mapping, waste reduction, and continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and efficiency across production lines.
- Operational Excellence Program Rollout: Support and own the rollout of Siemens' Program across various departments. Ensure alignment to DMS practices for improved performance tracking, issue resolution, and continuous monitoring of operational metrics.
- multi-functional Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality, logistics, and maintenance to implement standard methodologies in manufacturing and operations processes.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Create, build and use data analysis tools to assess operational performance, supervise key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports for senior management. Provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training & Development: Provide coaching and mentoring to staff in lean methodologies, process optimization, and daily management practices. Facilitate workshops and training sessions as needed.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure all projects stay in sync with Siemens' health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3 - 5 years) in Industrial engineering, Project management, and Continuous improvement initiatives, preferably within manufacturing or large-scale operational environments.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in leading both CAPEX and OPEX projects, including financial management and resource allocation.
- Experience with Daily Management Systems (DMS) implementation and optimization is helpful.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Power BI, SAP, Tableau) and process simulation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience simulating manufacturing systems and processes
- Experience with computer programming and/or database management
- Practical experience training others on Engineering topics including Bill of materials, Engineering drawings, equipment and tooling usage and maintenance, and safety.
- Ability to measure, design/specify and install production equipment
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis

- The pay range for this position is $73K-$90K. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
