Siemens Osakeyhtiö/ Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Procurement Specialist with responsibility for project and service Procurement within FinBaltics. You will join a global organisation, where you will be part of the Nordic SI Procurement team.
What is your role?
In your role as Procurement Specialist your tasks are:
  • Integrate Procurement in the project management process and project teams at an early stage.
  • Involvement during sales phase. Handle controls and monitor Procurement topics and when required Purchasing activities in projects and services.
  • Introduce Procurement/Sourcing strategies targeting maximum contribution to the operating result under the consideration of product/service availability & quality and guaranteeing the observance of the Procurement processes described. Ensure we are following Siemens Procurement processes.
Who are we looking for?
According to your personality, you are a good business partner and get along with different people. You will find solutions to different challenges and situations. You are experienced in contract management, planning, and strategy. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have good negotiation skills. Fluent English and Finnish is a prerequisite.

Your skills and competences include:
  • Analytical and strong negotiator
  • Good commercial, financial and contractual awareness
  • Possess great interpersonal skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and self-drive when working independently as well as within teams
  • Fluent language skills in Finnish and English
  • An appropriate background in procurement, relevant degree and/or similar skills obtained during career
  • Understanding of MS 365 Applications and financial tools
