Then come and join our global team as Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager (f/m/d) to be responsible for overseeing and managing specific cybersecurity projects within the organization. The main project is the global roll out of our new supplier risk management program. This initiative is driving the implementation of enhanced requirements for supplier risk management processes to help ensure that cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors are effectively managed across the business units.
This position can be filled either in Germany or in the United States.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You develop detailed project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resources for cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with organizational security strategies
- You lead and coordinate cybersecurity project teams, managing resources, tasks, issues, and risks to ensure successful project execution
- You collaborate with business units to support the implementation of cybersecurity projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and organizational policies
- You prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and issues to senior executives, facilitating communication between stakeholders and project teams
- You identify opportunities for process improvements, incorporating lessons learned from past projects and staying informed about emerging cybersecurity trends
- You partner with procurement to implement enhanced supplier risk management processes, transforming this initiative into a sustainable, ongoing program
- You leverage strong management, communication, and influencing skills to provide transparency, improve incident response, and enable risk management across the supplier base

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are preferred
- You have many years of proven experience in managing projects, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- You have very profound experience in cybersecurity, including specific experience with third-party risk management and supplier security
- You have a very strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices
- You have experience working in a global or multicultural environment, with an understanding of different regulatory and compliance requirements across regions

- You have strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You excel in problem-solving and critical thinking, enabling you to navigate complex challenges and make informed decisions that drive project success in a dynamic cybersecurity environment
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- You possess strong English communication skills, essential for coordinating with global teams and stakeholders, while proficiency in German is an additional asset that enhances collaboration within the organization
