We are Siemens Mobility and looking for a driven EHS Officer to develop the well-being and safety policy. For us, EHS is a top priority. We carry well-being in our heart and soul!

The Siemens Mobility division is the world's leading supplier of mobility solutions for the efficient, safe and environmentally friendly transport of people and goods. In doing so, we help improve the daily quality of life of millions of people on all continents. Driven by innovation, we develop intelligent digitalized solutions for the mobility challenge that is growing all the time.

In the role of prevention adviser, you are the interlocutor and contact person for the business partners. Together with your management, your fellow prevention advisers and the external prevention department, you are jointly responsible for implementing the well-being policy. You also contribute to the overall development of Siemens' well-being policy.

You sensitize and enthuse like no other. Like Siemens, you actively pursue the values of 'innovation, excellence and responsibility'. As a customer-oriented team player, you communicate with a healthy dose of assertiveness and know how to mobilize people.

Project management is no stranger to you. You assist the project manager in implementing the welfare policy and the VCA** requirements. At Siemens, you get the opportunity to perform your tasks very autonomously. Working in a planned and structured way is not an obstacle for you.

You participate in the development of psychosocial well-being within the organization. This includes performing risk analyses and working out the results of these in a project-based manner, including implementation of actions. In addition, you deal with other administrative EHS-related aspects (such as VCA certification obligations or other legal obligations).

You are not afraid to digitize processes and constantly try to optimize them and make them more efficient.

Finally, you love challenges and dare to tackle complex problems with an analytical and critical mind.

Will you become our new colleague?

  • You have a master's degree and affinity with a technical/engineering environment
  • You have a working knowledge of legal obligations concerning EHS
  • A level 2 prevention adviser certificate is a minimum requirement, but individuals with a level 1 prevention adviser certificate may also apply
  • You are passionate about EHS and want to contribute within Siemens
  • You have an interest and/or affinity with IT and technology
  • You have an interest in digitalization and want to take an active role in this within the team
  • You express yourself fluently in Dutch. Knowledge of or willingness to improve your English and French will also be required in due course

Then we would like to hear from you!

What does Siemens offer you?

At Siemens, you will join an environment that cares about you. You get the opportunity to develop yourself in an international environment. We offer varied work in a wide range of positions and intensive internal training to further develop your career. Permanent coaching and guidance by a mentor are also part of the process. Furthermore, we offer:

  • At least 31 days of annual leave.
  • Benefits@work: online store with additional benefits for Siemens employees.
  • Training program customized to your personal career needs.
  • A competitive base pay, in line with the general Belgian labour market.
  • A financial care program including a pension plan, death & invalids’ coverage, and an extended medical insurance: hospitalisation, ambulant costs (dental & optical cost), …
  • An employee assistance program, focused on mental and physical well-being.
  • And so much more! 😊
