The IP department of Siemens located in Bangalore works closely with the Indian R&D departments and businesses to provide an end-to-end IP support including harvesting inventions in a timely manner, protecting valuable inventions in different jurisdictions, prosecuting patent applications and handling IP portfolio in a strategic manner.

Over the years, the IP administration Group in our department has developed expertise in supporting the in-house IP professionals in preparing and filing the patent applications across different jurisdictions including WO, US, EP, CN, IN, etc. The IP administration group is largely responsible for paralegal and docketing work along with Contracts management, Billing and reporting, Inventor remuneration management, and in promotion of IP within the organization via various interesting initiatives.

Your success is grounded in:

  • Associate IP Administration Professional with 1 to 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • The candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • The candidate must have experience in docketing and/or related paralegal matters.
  • The candidate must be well conversant with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and other such Windows applications.
  • The candidate shall have interest in developing skills of a good IP paralegal.
  • The candidate must have a very good attention to detail and good written and spoken English skills.
