SIMEA Sibiu carries out production activities of electronic equipment and systems, of low to medium complexity and with an increased manual processing part. The company is involved in the generation of innovative solutions in the field of design and manufacturing of electronic products, support services within its strong competencies: product development (PLM), logistics and production.

Join our Supply Chain team in Sibiu as an Export / Import Specialist

What part will you play?

· You are responsible for the adherence to official laws & country / EU guidelines for shipping/customs/aviation security including packaging in the end-to-end (E2E) process.

· Contact person for customers and internal specialist departments for questions and problems related to shipping processes.

· You are responsible to use the correct incoterms.

· Create COO (certificate of origin) and responsible on Preferential Country of Origin.

· Establish the process for immediate update of import / export customs codes in master data, based on information from suppliers, national Government Authorities and Siemens internal information.

· Obtain the necessary Customs data / documents from suppliers, checking the completeness and accuracy according to legal requirements.

· In case of doubtful data from supplier, namely Customs Tariff Number – to check in Taric.

What you need to make real what matters.

· Relevant experience in the field of customer service, customs, transportation logistics. On-top experience in other logistic areas such as order management and operative purchasing is beneficial.

· You have a holistic understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) supply chain and its interdependencies.

· You possess relevant certificates/trainings in aviation security, customs and COO.

· You have experience in dealing with customers, service providers and freight forwarders in a qualified manner.

· Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (SD&MM module). Experience in S4 Global Trade Services (GTS) is beneficial.

· Good proficiency of English (spoken & written) is an absolute must since you work in an international environment. Proficiency of German is a benefit.
