Then come and join our global team as Global Marine & Construction Insurance and Operations Manager (f/m/d) to help build the Insurable Risk Management function for Siemens Healthineers.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.
The position may be based in Erlangen or Zurich.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will report to the Head of Corporate Insurable Risks and will conduct the worldwide systematic and efficient risk assessment and evaluation for the insurable marine/ transport and construction risks of Siemens Healthineers, defining the corresponding worldwide risk profile
- You will be responsible for the optimal risk financing strategy of Siemens Healthineers in the insurance lines of marine/ transport and construction (and, if applicable, other technical insurances). To this end, you will define the scope of coverage in these insurance lines, design risk-appropriate insurances and will be responsible for negotiating additional cover
- You will be responsible to Siemens Healthineers' internal advisory in the insurance lines of marine/ transport and construction (and other technical insurances if applicable) as well as for the corresponding loss & claims management. To this end, you will coordinate insurers and external service providers
- In addition, you will be responsible for the implementation of an efficient premium allocation and invoicing across all corporate insurance lines. You will support the implementation of the digitalization strategy for insurable risks at Siemens Healthineers and be responsible for the global reporting of our insurance data

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed commercial insurance vocational training and ideally also have a degree in engineering or business administration/ economics (specializing in insurance or risk)
- You have many years of professional experience with insurers, insurance brokers or on the customer side in the marine/ transport and construction insurance lines, ideally gained in several companies
- You have extensive experience in the structured assessment and evaluation of complex marine/ transport and construction risks and know how to systematically create an efficient risk financing concept for these risks
- You have already gained experience in project management with a tight schedule and have successfully taken on project responsibility
Your attributes and skills:
- Personally, you will impress us with your curiosity, strong creative drive, and confident presence
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills
- You have the ability to think holistically and to design and implement processes accordingly
- You are fluent in spoken and written English to communicate with your national and international external service providers and colleagues. German language skills are an advantage
Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
