We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Siemens Smart Infrastructure team in Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing go to market strategies and cross-business opportunities, and sales leads for all business units within the Smart Infrastructure business

You will make an impact with:
  • Solution Selling and Pre-Sales Development: Understand the smart buildings and electrical infrastructure portfolio, customizing solutions for customers while driving pre-sales initiatives in key markets such as Data Centers, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Semiconductors, and Food & Beverage.
  • Cross-Business Collaboration and Vertical Strategy: Develop cross-business opportunities across Siemens' operating companies and implement Go-to-Market (G2M) strategies for targeted accounts and vertical markets.
  • Sustainability and Value Demonstration: Support customers in achieving sustainability goals and demonstrate Siemens’ value through detailed cost-benefit analyses.
  • Business Planning and Reporting: Craft long-term business strategies, prepare monthly and annual reports, and identify synergies within the organization, considering the macroeconomic environment.
  • Sales Strategy and Market Analysis: Develop sales strategies to target customer groups and evaluate market trends to uncover new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network, fostering long-term relationships with clients.
  • Opportunity Exploration and Proposal Preparation: Identify specific business opportunities for Siemens' digital portfolio and collaborate on preparing comprehensive project proposals.
You will win us over with:
  • Experience and Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in business excellence, corporate strategy, or a related role, preferably in electrical infrastructure, technology, or industries like F&B, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Electronics, or Data Centers.
  • Education: MBA or a degree in Electronics, IT, Engineering, or a relevant field preferable.
  • Skills in Sales and Client Engagement: Track record of discovering and closing sales opportunities, achieving revenue targets, and building strong client relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electrical distribution, automation, digital solutions, and building automation products.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, understand customer needs, and solve complex problems.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent ability to interact effectively across all levels within Siemens and in multicultural environments.
  • Market Awareness: Knowledge of the competitive landscape and customer insights, with the ability to leverage this understanding for business advantage.
