Your role:
Overall Responsibilities:
- Processing the Export Control program and all logistics related issues in order processing
- Providing accurate and timely logistics operations in line with company guidelines
- Basic data maintenance in SAP system
- Performing logistics operations in line with SLC, US GAAP, SOA 404 and IFRS guidelines as well as local legal requirements
- Stamp duty procedure for Direct Business
- Assist the Logistics Manager to meet overall strategic goals and quality standards for the team
Order Management:
- Responsible for Order management after Order Income booking and handover.
- Handling purchasing activities under the contract (e.g. raise purchase orders to Siemens Affiliated companies and OEM vendors).
- Check room preparation status with Project Management.
- Confirm delivery time with supplier (Last Call).
- Push buyer for payment release.
- Handling of Dunning process in relation to accounts receivable.
- Generating and checking reports to ensure all costs are correct booked and billed in SAP.
Transportation Management & Logistics Problem Solving
- Responsible for Transportation management
- Working closely with GG, local OEM suppliers and forwarders to track and monitor transportation status according to project schedule. Also ensure the whole delivery cycle is under control and drive for improvements.
- Work with Project Management and Customer Service to resolve issues relating to any damaged/incorrect/deficient items and liaise with the GG, forwarder, buyer and insurance company for solutions.
- Handle other logistics problems as they arise.
Your expertise and qualifications:
- University bachelor’s degree in related discipline (accounting or international trading preferred) or advanced degree, where required or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of corporate experience in the supply chain management, logistics and related functions.
- Knowledge of Customs / Export, US GAAP, Taxes, International Trade, Trade Law, Contract law (Contract management) and commercial project management principles.
- Practical/hands-on experience within the SCM environment such as order management, logistics, commercial project controlling and receivable management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Superior analytical skills required to provide detailed and conclusive findings from provided data sources.
- Strong interpersonal skills to lead, engage, motivate, and develop diverse team.
- Deep knowledge of ERP system (SAP) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficiency in English & French language (Written and Spoken) is a must.
