Sales Operation Planning Analyst
We are currently seeking a Sales & Operation Planning Analyst for our ITESA Siemens plant. This position will be based in Ciudad Juarez, reporting to Customer Service area and Sales and Operations team at Corporate.
This position would suit candidates with planning experience looking to further develop their planning career with our globally recognized brand.
Interacts With: Marketing, Product Management, Financial Controllers, Research & Development, Information Technology, Customer Support, Sales, Plant Materials Management, Purchasing as well as general management.
Essential Job Functions

- Manage expectations within commercial link while arriving at Consensus Forecast using specific tools and systems.
- Coordinates and leads monthly supply forecast meetings with marketing and the factory to deliver the forecast and answer questions.
- Support New Product introduction (NPI) demand forecast as well as End of Life (EOL) demand forecast while coordinating customer expectations to respective departments within Product Engineering department.
- Contributes to the product lifecycle management (PLM) process by developing logistics plans for product introduction and obsolescence.
- Evaluate and maintain Key KPI
- Forecast accuracy/quality
- Delivery performance
- Asset Management/Inventory Turns
- Analyze sales pipeline data and combine with existing forecasts to provide as input top management.
- Regularly evaluate category actual performance to forecast, analyzing the variance and initiating appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure Marketing strategies and programs are accurately represented in the forecast, analyzing the variance and initiating appropriate corrective actions
- Take leadership role in initiative to capture and utilize real field consumption data.
- Participate in cross-functional efforts to enhance Supply Chain, Order Management and Fulfillment activities for business, as directed by supervisor.
- Attend some key customers meetings and quarterly/annual planning meetings.
- It is a very analytical & data driven role in the logistics and supply chain management area, requires a lot of data analytics and change mindset, continuously improves processes to improve efficiency and drive business results
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree required with focus in SCM/Business/Finance/Marketing/Engineering preferred.
· Position requires 2+ years experiences in following areas: Forecasting, Supply Chain, Marketing or similar role.
· High degree of computer literacy including Windows, Excel and Access experience needed
· Advanced Planning systems experience is a plus.
· Critical and analytical thinker.
· Strong customer service, interpersonal and follow up skills a must.
· Good communication skills (oral and written). Comfortable presenting to senior management.
· Action and Results oriented with an ability to quickly develop plans and turn them into actions.
· Bilingual English/Spanish.
