Position Overview
This position is as a Software Engineer- Advanced the employee will be responsible for design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external).
You will act as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product, high-level technical expertise, including performing in-depth and complex software systems programming and analysis. The position requires individual who ca work without supervision on highly complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.
- Responsible in crafting document, and execute software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Active Workspace Client within the company’s PLM software suite.
- Work with Architects on efficient software solutions that address performance, reliability, and usability requirements.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
- Contribute to planning effort, provide accurate estimation of tasks.
- Complete implementation strategy and get stakeholder agreements.
- Collaborate across projects and teams.
- Report accurate status to Scrum Master and help refine story breakdown.
- Keep Project management tool (Polarion) up-to-date.
- Maintain first time quality – no rework
- Drive achievement of zero defects in delivered features, no acceptance criteria failures.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure each business problem is satisfied by a single technical solution.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers or identified during testing and validation activities.
- Ensure that every product change package includes AOS/unit test and there are no regressions in AOS/xUnit/performance due to release node promotes.
- Contribute to the creation of customer product capability demonstration material.
- Complete timely and accurate status updates to defect development scratchpads.
- Ensure Escalation Response - Customer reported Priority 1 issues have daily update and five business day response cycle.
- Mentor new developers in development tools, product features and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or related Engineering field.
- Full Stack developer, delivers the end-to-end tasks in frontend and backend.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of Teamcenter or any PLM software development
- Using Javascript and ReactJs, including view frameworks in multiple projects
- Working with Active Workspace Front-end web application development using MVC design pattern
- Experience in working with OOPs using C/C++
- Experience in both architecture and algorithm design, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Proven experience in building PLM software products, Product Structure Management and BOM tools
- Requirements collect, analysis techniques and process improvement approaches
- Experienced in using Teamcenter API development
- Experience on delivering software products through the entire software development lifecycle.
