Your mission will be…

• Responsible for GBS DS enterprise architecture management (including business IT alignment and analysis of the application portfolio), driving IT strategies from business requirements.
• Lead IT transformation programs to optimize our portfolio and to support business objectives, improving operational efficiency, reducing redundancy and improve application performance.
• Provide architectural mentorship and governance for new solutions, services and ensure their compliance with the existing architectural landscape.
• Build a robust application portfolio management framework that actively steers the strategic use of enterprise architecture.
• Develop and maintain technology roadmaps that guide the portfolio evolution in line with business needs and technological advancements.
• Enable integration and interoperability of different applications within the enterprise.
• Build governance frameworks that ensure compliance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• Engage with key stakeholders to capture requirements, provide insights, and ensure that enterprise architecture initiatives meet business needs.
• Should have experience in any one of the Siemens IT Priority topics e.g. Digital Sales, IoT, Factory Digitalization, SAP S4H ERP transformation, PLM transformation, MES, Digital workplace.

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor/master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science or comparable education with corresponding additional skills
• Demonstrable experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on IT transformation programs and application portfolio optimization.
• Proven ability in the field of Enterprise Architecture Management, relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, PMP) and experience with LeanIX for EAM is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of one or more aspect of Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Data Architecture, Technology Architecture and strong analytical skills, to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Experience in handling IT projects, including budget management and prioritization.
• Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Understand the business & technical architecture concepts for sophisticated IT architectures.
• Knowledge in IT governance, risk management, and new technologies; familiarity with application portfolio management tools and techniques is a plus.
• Availability for occasional business trips.
