Siemens Logistics LLC is searching for Site Installation Supervisor for the Airport Logistics Operation to support our Airport Projects in Houston. You will perform on-site technical and operational support in the design, development, installation of baggage handling systems of a complex nature.
Responsibilities:
Reports to the Site Manager.
Supervises mechanical and electrical subcontractors to ensure they adhere to the project schedule.
Completes and submits reports covering all job activity.
Performs the review of complex task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance to subcontractors throughout task duration.
Coordinates the installation activities of subcontractors with other building trades and contractors.
Represents project team in site coordination and construction meetings.
Assists in problem solving for installation variances and changes in the work or site.
Monitors and reports on progress of subcontractors and measures progress against plans and schedules.
Uses Autodesk applications and other project management software tools for site reporting and communication.
Education:
BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
Knowledge and Experience:
Broad knowledge on installation of conveyor equipment for baggage handling systems.
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. Typically 2-5 years of successful experience in site supervision and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
Direction of Others: Provide general guidance or train support and/or professional staff.
Key Working Relationships: Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts.
Position may require night work or shift work as required by installation activities.
Travel: 95% assigned to specific project and 5% to support other projects

· The pay range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
