Siemens Fort Worth is looking for a Supply Chain & Inventory Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain and Inventory Specialist, you will play a pivotal and strategical role in overseeing the procurement of materials and managing inventory levels to support our operations efficiently. Improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. Use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different departments to recommend ways of improving the supply chain. Candidate must be knowledgeable with SAP and proficient in the following tasks:

You will make an impact by:

  • Collect data on supply chain operations and monitor inventory levels
  • Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance supply chain operations
  • Measure supply chain performance and report to management
  • Coordinate the supply chain to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of all Indirect materials
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Production to ensure right processes are set in place that aloud an smooth flow of the information (Purchase to Pay)
  • Utilize warehouse management systems, to track and monitor inventory
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree although candidates with varying degrees will also be considered based on experience. A combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered in lieu of a BS degree.
  • 5-7 years of supply chain experience as a buyer or planner with MRP (SAP) system in manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools and ability to develop actionable insights from data with Excel and SAP.
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

  • APICS CSCP and/or CPIM
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, customers and suppliers
  • Negotiation skills

• The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
