Location: Southaven, MS – Greater Memphis Distribution Center (Tri-State Area including MS, TN, & AR)

Siemens Industry is looking for a Financial Analyst for our SI Logistics organization, the position will be based in Southaven, MS, but must have the ability to support other regional locations. The Financial Analyst will be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team, that offers the chance for you to grow, contribute and learn as far as your growth mindset takes you.

We are seeking a Financial Analyst for a hybrid position, allowing you to work both on-site and remotely for up to two days each week. This role is based at our Memphis Distribution Center in Southaven, MS.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support data transparency and the monitoring, tracking and reporting of costs.
  • Participate in month end closing activities including but not limited to data compilation, journal entry preparation and general ledger review.
  • Assist with Cost Accounting.
  • Provide Forecast/Budget information.
  • Participate in projects and cost improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with the distribution center team to drive business improvements and ultimate customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to business/management requests for ad hoc reports and analysis. (warehouse, assembly, returns, mods, etc.)
  • Support adherence to internal controls and compliance requirements in all areas.
  • Contribute to automation and improvement of reporting processes and everyday tasks.
  • Problem Solving / Analysis - identify root causes and generate solutions to support business decisions.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • 3-5+ years of related professional experience
  • Cost Accounting experience - standard costing with labor and OH rate calculation
  • Ability to effectively manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed analytical skills and detail-orientation
  • Proficient Computer skills required in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
  • Team-mindset with “we can do it” mentality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • SAP FICO proficiency
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Tableau highly preferred
  • Knowledge of Snowflake and Hyperion
  • Previous experience in business unit or business segment operational finance
  • Travel approximately 5% as the need arises.

You’ll benefit from:

  • The pay range for this position is $53,760 - $92,160. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
