- Support the creation of three-dimensional CAD models (both parametric and history-less) to serve as the basis of CFD models that are part of customer demonstrations and training activities.
- Support customer engagements by performing geometry clean-up, assembly defeaturing, and cross-CAD platform translation activities.
- Assist in generating standard, industry-specific demonstration materials across the suite of Simcenter tools, working with interns in other Simcenter COE’s.
- Participate in customer calls to identify appropriate solutions, demonstrate software capabilities, and promote the adoption of Siemens tools.
- Majoring in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, automotive engineering, or aerospace engineering
- Key interest and experience with three-dimensional mechanical CAD software required.
- Experience working with STAR-CCM+, FLOEFD, SolidWorks, NX, Creo
- Demonstrated interest in engineering simulation tools.
- Quick learner of new computer applications through self-guided study.
- Self-motivated and independent, with a proven ability to manage timelines, balance multiple simultaneous projects, and meticulously track details
- Good communication skills; comfortable writing technical content and giving presentations.
