Cash Manager, Cash Management & Payments (CMP) Americas
This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days at our Iselin, NJ office monthly.
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Cash Manager to join our Cash Management & Payments (CMP) Americas. CMP oversees Siemens’ cash management and payment operations across the Americas, driving innovation, operational excellence, and efficient payment infrastructure while ensuring effective risk management.
As a part of CMP, you will play a key role in shaping and executing cash management and payment strategies, optimizing payment infrastructure, and ensuring alignment with evolving industry trends, business needs, and global objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage advanced payment technologies, lead innovative projects, and contribute to Siemens’ Treasury of the Future.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence and Innovation
- Lead initiatives focused on CMP continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and implementing efficient cash management solutions, payment processing structures, and cash concentration set-ups, while ensuring compliance and minimizing operational risks.
- Lead efforts to identify and integrate innovative cash management and payment solutions, incorporating Virtual Bank Accounts, Real-Time payments, Blockchain Technology, Open Banking, and API Integrations.
- Partner with global teams to implement automation and digital transformation projects, ensuring Siemens remains at the forefront of treasury innovation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Siemens Business Units, optimizing the use of banking and payment services and delivering tailored solutions for their cash management and payment needs.
- Ensure seamless execution of daily cash management activities, including payment processing, liquidity management, cash concentration and manage payment inquiries, recalls, and embargo hits to ensure smooth operations and minimize operational risks
Banking Partner Management
- Cultivate and manage relationships with regional banking partners, leading RFPs negotiating contracts for cash pooling, API/SWIFT/EBICS data communication contracts, and fee structures. This includes ensuring compliance with banking governance models and optimizing the use of NOSTRO settlement accounts, In-house bank/ICC accounts and POBO/COBO structures for efficient cash management and payment set ups.
- Closely work with banking and payment providers to enhance Siemens’ cash and payment capabilities, aligned with global strategies and emerging technologies like payment gateways integrations, digital payment and AI driven cash application.
Governance and Compliance
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for cash management, ensuring adherence to Siemens’ global standards and regional regulatory requirements.
- Manage bank account attestations, audit requests, and infrastructure governance in collaboration with Regional Finance Centers (RFCs).
Project and Change Management
- Lead and support regional and global CMP projects, leveraging automation tools and innovative solutions, such as virtual bank account setups, digital payments, POBO/COBO structures, and cash application automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, plan, and execute projects that enhance efficiency, security, and compliance in cash management.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate project outcomes and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
Continuous Learning and Development
- Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, integrating knowledge into building Siemens Treasury of the Future.
You will impress us with the following qualifications
Technical and Payment Expertise
- Expertise in payment technologies, including Digital and Real-Time Payments (RTP), Payment Processing Gateways, blockchain, embedded payments, and fraud prevention tools.
- Expertise with banking systems, banking communication protocols (SWIFT, EBICS, XML, API ), and treasury management systems (e.g., SAP, Finavigate, TMS).
- Experience working with merchant services, credit cards, tokenization, and Fraud mitigation solutions
Analytical and Strategic Thinking
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to support decision making. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI is a plus.
- Proven ability to navigate fast-paced environments, adapt to change, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· Demonstrated project management skills (scoping, timelines, resource management…etc)
- Strong interest in payment technologies and financial systems
Communication and Collaboration
- Excellent communication skills to build trust and foster collaboration with stakeholders, including CFOs, banks, legal, IT, and tax departments across regions.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable strategies and solutions.
Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT (with a finance focus), or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Treasury ideally within an international organization, a consulting firm, or a bank.
- Demonstrated experience in cash management, payment, and treasury operations.
- Additional qualifications such as MBA, CTP, or MSc are highly preferred.

- The pay range for this position is $98,630 - $169,080..The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
