Front Store Supervisor

SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing front-end operations and delivering an exceptional customer service experience. This role manages cashier, cash office, and merchandising functions while ensuring operational standards, loss prevention, and store presentation are consistently met.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
HUMAN RESOURCESEnsure cashier and merchandising staff comply with all store policies, procedures, and operating standards
Train cashiers and merchandisers on job functions, systems, and best practices
Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and performance support
Ensure all loss prevention standards and procedures are consistently followed
Manage daily cash office operations, including cash inventory, cashier tracking, tracking sheets, and PC Optimum procedures
Ensure store employees present a professional image in accordance with the Uniform Policy
Assist customers by answering inquiries regarding product location, rain checks, and general store information
Resolve customer concerns in accordance with established guidelines (refunds, exchanges, etc.)
Actively promote and support the CSI Survey program
Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and properly rotated
Ensure product displays are set up and removed as directed by the AFSM/FSM
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and overall store image
Comply with all Health and Safety requirements
Perform clerical and banking duties as required
Adhere to all store and loss prevention policies and ensure consistent execution
Perform other duties as required, including cashier duties when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently while effectively organizing store operations
Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
EXPERIENCE
Computer literate
Strong organizational skills
Effective time management and efficiency
Knowledge of retail products and supplies
