Why this role is important?

The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering the strategic direction and execution of the Wellwise Marketing plan. In this role, they will be the subject matter expert for all things in-store as well as digital to ensure that all digital properties are optimized and operating to drive strong results and a valuable experience for our customers.

What you'll do:

Develop and execute the overall Marketing strategy

  • Drive awareness sales and traffic to our e-commerce site, and store locations, aligned with overall Wellwise priorities

  • Lead Marketing campaigns to support our Brand, store locations and e-commerce and B2B (including vendor partnerships)

  • Assist with marketing support on internal community led events

Develop and execute social media plans

  • Drive growth of our Facebook community and engagement, while looking for new opportunities to grow the brand’s social footprint

  • Manage and optimize SEM/SEO tactics and campaigns according to marketplace trends, media buy and overall business requirements

  • Create content strategy to support all initiatives (email, websites, social, in-store, community partnerships, etc.)

Vendor Partnerships

  • Manage & on-board external agency partners meeting with them weekly to ensure timelines of all deliverables are being met

  • Collaborate and Lead internal agency partners meeting with them weekly to deliver on executional timelines

Planning & Budgeting

  • Collaborate with SLT on Multi-Year Marketing Plans to reflect current business needs, opportunities and brand/digital marketing specific requirements

  • Manage, maintain and report on the overall marketing budget (SDM Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Promo & Flyer), submit and monitor purchase orders and other various tasks pertaining to budget management

People Management & Development

  • Hire, training and develop people to assist in the daily operation of all Marketing functions


What you bring:

  • Bachelor Degree (Business, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, Economics or similar)

  • 5-7 years of experience in media planning and execution including 3-4 years of experience developing a team of digital media practitioners

  • Strong people management skills with proven leadership skills in handling cross-functional efforts without direct reports

  • Exceptional knowledge of digital media ecosystem including ad tech and data providers. In platform experience is a plus

  • Collaborative and positive attitude with passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data to unlock value for the enterprise

  • Self-directed, proactive and able to define and implemented projects independently

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people

  • Strong executive level communications skills. Ability to present findings to senior management and display a comfort level responding to questions
